Graston Technique

Dr. Hegazi is a licensed Graston Technique practitioner. The Graston Technique is changing the way clinicians and patients view treatment of acute and chronic soft tissue injuries. It is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy

Dr. Hegazi is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He works with various populations including men, women, children, athletes (including runners) and focuses on muscle imbalances, extra spinal abnormalities, postoperative patients and geriatric groups.  He specializes in strength training, weight loss, and functional rehabilitation. At MCC we help our patients alleviate their pain. What’s special about MCC is we don’t stop there. Our focus is on helping our patients go further and achieve a higher quality of life by stabilizing their injury and strengthening the involved muscle tissues and joints. Ultimately, this protocol will guide our patients towards adapting to a functional environment.

Kinesio Taping

Dr. Hegazi is a licensed Kinesio Taping practitioner. The Kinesio Taping Method promotes normal tissue healing and function through the use of Kinesio Tex, the elastic cloth tape designed and developed to support soft tissue, reduce swelling and inflammation, and reduce pain by enhancing the body’s natural healing process. Dr. Hegazi has had consistent success using Kinesio Tape with sports injuries and other painful musculoskeletal conditions. Conventional athletic tape is designed to restrict and support the movement of the injured body part in order to protect the area from further damage. In contrast, Kinesio Tex Tape, not only offers the support needed, but allows the patient complete range of motion during the rehabilitation process to facilitate the ultimate therapeutic modality, exercise.

If you have had any type of imaging (X-rays, MRI, etc.) for an injury you seek care for, please bring them with you on your first visit. However, X-ray services ARE available at MCC.
