Dr. Shirine I. Hegazi has established Merrifield Chiropractic Center in Northern, VA as the premier sports rehabilitation and alternative health care facility. His passion for serving his community is evident with his scientific approach of accurately diagnosing and effectively eliminating the cause of a patient’s symptoms, rather than just the symptoms themselves, an approach which embraces MCC’s complete and comprehensive health care model. Dr. Hegazi is a board certified Chiropractic physician with physical therapy privileges in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He holds his doctorate degree from the National University of Health Sciences. He also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic and an additional Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Dr. Hegazi’s philosophy is to incorporate treatment plans based on science, and care for patients compassionately utilizing various modalities of Chiropractic Medicine, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitative procedures which will eliminate symptoms and restore overall function of the human body. Dr. Hegazi passionately believes in patient education and empowering patients to improve the quality of their lives.

His passion for health and wellness has spread throughout Northern, Virginia as he has become a sought out lecturer. He lectures interactively at several corporations, schools, community centers, and other venues in the Washington DC area speaking on health and wellness, maintaining efficient and ergonomic workstations, stress management, and various other health topics. Dr. Hegazi is also an active Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has spoken at The Fairfax Golf and Country Club, Tysons Sport and Health Clubs and lectures to golfers, personal trainers, and other athletes on injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Dr. Hegazi is an active member and past President of the Tysons Mastermind Business Networking International group, a member of the Virginia Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and International Chiropractic Association.
